Director of Drug Development

The Director of Drug Development will be leading one or more drug development programs. The position is responsible for all drug development activities from proof-of concept studies through regulatory approval. It includes directing pre-clinical and clinical studies, cooperating with contract research organizations, coordinating formulation development and manufacturing activities, and managing the overall development projects. This position is a tremendous opportunity for a high-energy individual to develop innovative pharmaceutical drugs in a fast growing new animal health company. Research Associate

The Research Associate will assist the R&D staff of Aratana Therapeutics in all aspects of drug development. This will include a range of activities supporting the evaluation of the safety and effectiveness of Aratana drugs, such as assistance with oversight of laboratory and clinical animal studies, organization of data, technical writing, and interactions with contract research organizations.
