Therapeutic Specialist (Sales Representative) Portland

Aratana has openings for a Therapeutic Specialist (Sales Representative) for our Portland territory. This position is responsible for achieving sales objectives by effectively communicating the value and the appropriate use of our portfolio of therapeutic products.  The ideal candidate has animal health sales experience, with specialty experience a plus. A bachelor’s degree, is preferred and a veterinary technician degree with surgical experience is a plus. This full-time position reports to the Regional Sales Leader and is available immediately. The position is field based and the candidate must be located within the territory specified. A valid driver’s license and domestic travel is required.

Manager of Veterinary Medical Services
Aratana has an opening for a Manager, Veterinary Medical Services to join our team. This position is responsible for overall management of pharmacovigilance activities and ensuring compliance with US FDA, USDA, and EMA reporting requirements. This position will also support the sales and marketing organization as needed by providing technical support, answering client inquiries, and attending and working at veterinary conferences. DVM with prior companion animal veterinary practice is required, with industry experience being preferred. This full-time position is based at our Leawood KS office and will report to our Veterinary Medical Director. Limited domestic travel is required.

Sales Coordinator

Aratana has an opening for a Sales Coordinator supporting the Sales organization; including Director of Sales, Customer Care and Sales Operations, and reporting to the company Executive Administrator. This position is responsible for supporting sales management in preparation of presentations and reports, planning and organizing sales meetings and administering the speakers bureau program. In addition, this position also assists with the sales force vehicle reimbursement program and a variety of other projects for the sales team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years’ experience in a sales support related or executive assistant role. The position is a full-time position and based at our corporate headquarters in Leawood, KS.

Director of CMC
Aratana has an opening for a Director, CMC. This position is responsible for worldwide CMC approval of development products. This position will lead CMC function within the product development project teams to ensure appropriate development to achieve worldwide product registrations. The Director of CMC establishes and maintains CMC, DMF, and GMP-QA electronic files. This full time position will report to the VP of CMC and is based at the Aratana Therapeutics headquarters located in Leawood, Kansas. Limited domestic travel is required.
